Lay of the Land Cafe and Garden Centre
Since September 2018, I have been working with James and his brother Pete to design unique pottery to be enjoyed at Lay of the Land Cafe. They come complete with the Lay of the Land logo. Stop by the cafe and enjoy some exceptional coffee (and the best scones!) on my lovely pots! These can also be purchased in-shop.
Tarn and Moon Mugs
I have paired up with the lovely Gemma of Tarn and Moon Teas to produce these contrasting 'Tarn and Moon Mugs'. The National Trust at Malham Tarn state have been amazing in granting me permission to forage for nettles and thistles to create two geographically unique glazes to put the Tarn into these moon mugs, quite literally. Foraging for these invasive-type plants also helps to preserve the internationally important hay meadows found across the estate. The full and dark moons stamped into the raw clay reflect Gemma's passion for this celestial globe. The full moon mugs are glazed with a nettle ash and quartz glaze, whilst the dark moon mugs are glazed with a thistle ash and quartz glaze. These mugs can be purchased through the Tarn and Moon website. (Photo credit to Gemma!)
